The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation  of the largest and most trusted kids' health charities in the country, raising funds to help provide all children with access to the best possible healthcare, whenever and wherever they need it.

​

The SCHF team is made up of a diverse collective of passionate professionals united by a mission to go all in for kids’ health, no matter where, no matter what.

A conduit, an enabler and a mechanism for powerful change, they make sure that funds raised go directly to the front line of children’s health care - from the hospitals wards to the treatment rooms, the research labs to the outreach programs.

SCHF truly believe there is no possible greater impact for a donated dollar in kids’ health. 

They are an independent health promotion charity, registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Item 1 Deductible Gift Recipient, and are a company limited by guarantee, registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

SCHF are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) and we are an approved holder of the Registered Charity Tick.

Where Do The Donations Go?

All donations are used for kids' health. Donated funds are used for new equipment, training, education, groundbreaking research, building state-of-the-art facilities and more, providing kids with the world-class healthcare they need and deserve.

Nowhere else can you make one donation and help different kids of all ages, all illnesses and all conditions. Your donations can help SCHF harness the power of collective giving to fund the highest and most urgent priorities to have the greatest impact on children’s health, now and in the future.

More than 170,000 kids who receive treatment or care in services provided by Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, are helped each year, by these donations with countless more benefiting for generations to come.

Philanthropy plays a unique role in health care and is about how we come together as communities to create solutions and pursue innovation that cannot be met by the public sector alone. SCHF are committed to ethical philanthropic practices and you can read our Ethical Donation Principles here.

All donations to the SCHF are used across Bear Cottage, Kids Research, NETS (The Newborn & pædiatric Emergency Transport Service) , the Sydney Children's Hospital and the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
