How does pipe relining work?Pipe relining is a 7-step process: Inspection and cleaning: The process begins with an initial inspection of the damaged pipes with CCTV followed by cleaning to remove debris, residues, and obstructions. Measuring and cutting the liner: Measuring and cutting a flexible liner to fit the length of pipe being repaired Inserting the liner: A resin saturated liner is inserted into the damaged pipe. Inflating the liner: Once in position, the liner is inflated to press the liner against the pipe walls to take the shape of the pipe. Curing the resin: The resin in the liner is then cured to harden it, creating a new pipe within the existing one. Final inspection: After the resin has fully cured, the bladder is deflated and removed. A final inspection is carried out, often using CCTV cameras, to ensure the liner has been installed correctly and the pipe is fully restored. Reinstatement: Any access points created for the relining process are reinstated. The plumbing system is then tested to confirm that flow has been restored and the repair is successful.

What grease trap maintenance services does Anytime Drains offer in commercial kitchens across Sydney? For commercial kitchens in Northern Beaches, Upper and Lower North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Sydney CBD, Inner West and Hills District Anytime Drains provides comprehensive grease trap maintenance. This includes industrial-strength installations and preventive cleaning solutions, ensuring efficient waste management. Upon inspection of the Grease Trap, we look to see the lid closes firmly to avoid any rodents entering the trap. Make sure there is no cracks or chips in the lid or on the walls of the Grease Trap. Concrete grease traps are especially prone to developing cracks or big chips in the lids. Are the internal walls corroded? Especially concrete traps. If so it’s time to resurface the walls or replace the trap. Are the baffles in place? The number of baffles will depend upon the design. Smaller grease traps often have 3 baffle plates, but inspection often reveals one or more missing. If the trap is designed with 3 baffles it needs the 3 baffles to do its job effectively. Checking that grease trap is on a level ground is crucial and can be a major issue if not. If out of level the grease will short circuit past the baffles and the grease and oil laden waste water will pass into the drainage system. Grease Pumps usually located in commercial kitchens that pump kitchen wastewater to the Grease Trap. Regular maintenance is recommended to make sure the impeller is clear of any debris and float switch is operating at the correct pump out height. When servicing the pump, we make sure to break up all Grease build up that have accumulated in the grease sump pit and on the pump housing. We also make sure the pump is then freely pumping out to the Grease Trap. Regular Inspections save $$$$, smell, mess, and embarrassment. The trap should be inspected for all the above parameters at least once a month and regularly pumped out.
